Just throwing this out there for some consideration and discussion, but I am six games into a season as the Mets, and I have not had a single first baseman off the bag error, nor a botched outfielder error to this point. Granted I had Reyes wing a couple over the top of Delgado's head due to terrible release timing, but that is my own damn fault!

Now on the other hand I noticed in my series against Florida that they had several issues with first base as well as a couple of drops in the field...makes me wonder if these glitches are more team associated rather than the game as a whole?

Any similar experiences?

I know there are 2 different slider settings for hum and cpu hitting, which set of #'s provide more offense?? Set 1 or 2??

Yeah, they need to fix the Papelbon glitch. I take Lester out after 8 innings of 4 hit ball and a 3-0 lead, and the ninth inning turns into a merry-go-round with Papelbon giving up hit after hit after hit, and my 3-0 lead evaporates into a 3-5 deficit and another loss.

To help avoid the confusion of the 2 #'s in some sliders I posted, I have updated my 1st post with the final slider set for these sliders..

The changes are reflected in ORANGE

Hi Joe,

As I looked over the first page again, for the first time I realized that you recommended starting with the legend slides and modifying them. Instead of downloading as custom, is this a way to be able to have your sliders while still earning the player cards?

I set up the sliders as of last night and played a couple games, here are the results.

Giants vs Reds
I struck out 16 with Lincecum over 8 innings. Granted, I've pitched with Lincecum about 10 times so far, but even I thought this number was a little high. I still lost the game 3-2 because I don't know how to score runs yet.

Rays vs Royals
I struck out 6 with Garza through 7.1 innings of work and left with a 3-1 lead before Balfour and Percival each gave up a run in the 8th and 9th. Burrell hit a 3 run jack for me and I picked up the save with Price.

Overall I like these sliders a lot and will play with the updates made today and report back later. As always, great work BFNJ.

How is everyone pitching? Old way, buttons, or are you using the stick?

I tried using it the old way, buttons, but i cant seem to get the pitch where i want it to go... so i was think maybe i should just use the stick, but im not sure how to use that..haha

I just pitched a 1-hit 10k shutout with Lincecum against the Nationals. The only hit I gave up was completely my fault for letting a down and away curve catch a little too much of the plate against their #8 hitter. This was also my first time playing with the strike zone window off. It seemed a little more fair that I wasn't able to paint the corners as perfect with the zone off.

Does it matter whether or not you set the sliders from legends difficulty? Or can you set them from any of them?

I lost to the Brewers last night with the Reds 10-9.
Everything the cpu hit was really hard.

jake, keep using these for @ minimum 10 games. My hope is that there will be a good variety of games. I haven't started my franchise yet (waiting on PATCH) so getting an idea from you & other's using these in their franchise would be really helpful.

Did you get a HR from someone like Alex Gonzalez or Chris Dickerson?

Someone less capable than Joey Votto or Bruce.
