Also can't remember are you guys using batters eye. My plate displine is getting worse by the game lately.
After you've started your swing motion you jerk back (down) on the right stick for a check swing.

Personally, I have the strike zone OFF and in turn, Batters Eye OFF.

Anybody think pitcher fatigue at 65 is a bit much? Verlander is almost completely gassed around 90 pitches. But fatigue at 60 seems a bit low. Not sure what to do.

Re: OS & BFJ Breakdown of the 2K10 Slider Theory...

I got in two post patch games with these sliders last night and both were realistic games.
        GAME 1
        CIN 6 CLE 2
Chapman was just great for me 5 inn 1 run 8 k's.
I am getting better hitting HRS as I hit two, a 3 run shot with Bruce and a solo with nix.
I did have alot of hits, I had 15. The cpu had 9 hits

        Game 2
        CIN 6 KC 8
I just really struggled to pitch in this one, although it was a spring training game inside my season and I used a ton of pitchers who wont even make the major league roster.
Ankiel was a beast going 4-4 with a HR, KC had 12 hits
My offensive star was Votto 3-4 with a HR, I had 12 hits too.
Again my pitchers struggled, Harrang only lasted 4 giving up 4 runs.
I am pretty happy with this slider set and am going to start my regular season soon.

I agree. 2 games last night with 4 Hrs by the cpu. I had only given up around 7 in 20 games before. The cpu offense is in gear now and these sliders are about as good as it gets for me.

I dont think the patch affected the gameplay.
Maybe a slight jump in cpu power but that was needed.

I'm quite disappointed to hear that the "fatigue glitch" apparently hasn't been addressed?

I know a lot of you have said that the CPU is pulling pitchers anyway, and it's only an aesthetic glitch, but in a pitchers duel i played a few days ago, the CPU left the starter in for 10 innings . Looking forward to getting in a couple games tonight with the updated settings.

Re: OS & BFJ Breakdown of the 2K10 Slider Theory...

I just played the best game since I've had the game. I was the Twins (Pavano) taking on the Red Sox (Lester) at Fenway. I was held scoreless through 5. The Sox got 2 solo HR's in the first and I could immediately tell that CPU power was too high. I decided to lower it on the spot from 100 to 90. I'm pretty sure thats the perfect setting.

Anyway it was 3-0 in the sixth until I ended up tieing the game. I got a double from Mauer that scored Hudson and put Morneau on 3rd. Next batter Kubel got a 2 run double. Lester got replaced by Bard. It stayed tied until the 7th when Mike Cameron homered. Pavano was tired but he was pitching pretty well so I left him in. Well big mistake because I dropped a changeup down the heart of the plate and Cameron took care of it. They then added 2 more in the 8th with a triple, double, and single.

In the 9th with 2 outs the left fielder dropped a ball so the inning stayed alive. Then I got an infield hit with the best fielder in baseball Nick Punto. So I had top of the order runners on 1st and 3rd. Then I thought to myself, the Twins picked up Thome for a reason. To pinch hit in key times against right handers. So I brought Thome into the game and tried to tie it up but I ended up striking out.

Final 6-3 Sox got 15 hits I got 12. This is the first time in this game that I didn't hit a HR. It was all doubles and singles. It was quite a relief. Also pitching was great as well. The Sox actually took pitches on first pitch strikes instead of swinging every time. Definitely the best game so far. Its nice that the CPU manager actually made smart pitcher decisions.

The only changes I may make once the 2nd PATCH hits is to Overall FATIGUE & AI Pitch Success. I think right now the changes on the 1st page are offering people some nice results

Honestly I have not seen this stuff everyone is talking about since the patch. I have downloaded and I am having a good time. I used these sliders and I beat the Phillies last night 7-6 and I was down 6-4 going into the 9th. Not saying that others are not having issues but I am not seeign them.

I'm not sure that they've got a handle (at 2k) with regard to the pitching fatigue at all...

i keep seeing pitchers fatigue drop to near nothing, and yet guys for the CPU are throwing complete games against me. when you call time on the mound the whole composure / fatigue things is totally screwed up.

i'm really hanging in the balance as to whether i keep this game or not... it's so messed up it's not even funny. baseball is HUGE on strategy, yet 2k seems to have really missed it this year in this department. that's a game killer for me...

Just to add to your comments about strategy...there is none when it comes to the CPU. The pitcher fatigue is FUBAR'd and there is no logic whatsoever as to when and where a pitching change should take place and I'm sick of it.

Just yesterday in a Franchise game I was the Orioles and put up 6 on the board in the first against Oakland. Their pitcher threw a complete game. In a Twins game later I faced Zach Greinke. He was cruising in the 6th with a shutout, gave up 1 run, had thrown 60+ pitches and was yanked. Played as the Red Sox against the Yankees in the season opener. I couldn't touch CC. He had given up just 2 hits through 6 and had only thrown 80 pitches. He was yanked. Can someone at 2K explain this nonsense?

The killer happened last night. I simulated 2 Cub games in Franchise. On Friday the Cubs started Silva who went 6.2 innings. On Saturday Lilly started and gave way to Silva in the 3rd who went another 5.2 innings. This bull *hit is inexcusable and needs to be patched.

Ya I'm beginning to think they don't test their games. How in the hell do we find all of these glitches and errors and they can't seem to find them or are too lazy to find them. This is ridiculous, we should recieve a great product right off the bat. Not some game that needs three patches every year. The game is light years better than last year and I absolutely love the game. But come on how in the hell are there always so many glitches. Test the game before you freaking sell it. It can't be that difficult. They should be the ones who play the game the most. Otherwise if they don't have time to test it for themselves they should do a community day sort a thing like NHL and Madden do except make this community day a testing day. So select gamers can play for however long and find the little glitches and ******* things that occur in the game. How can pitcher fatigue and AI manager decisions be so bad? Those are two of the most vital things in baseball. If you don't have those two things down, you don't have a good baseball game.

                                Sorry for the rant
