Yeah. I posted these thoughts a few days ago. It's kind of like the Walk ratings being listed as D for everyone. Visually it looks wrong but it's not. I also think this exists on HR distances as well. I see a lot fo HRs that just clear the wall but the distance says 450+ feet.

Re: OS & BFJ Breakdown of the 2K10 Slider Theory...
I just think composure is overdone so I keep it low for both sides. I don't think pitchers get rattled that easily in real life but some guys like to keep it high to make pitching tougher. The higher the slider the harder it is to pitch when rattled although maybe you just get rattled sooner. Not sure anymore.Comment

Re: OS & BFJ Breakdown of the 2K10 Slider Theory...
I really think the stamina issue is a cosmetic glitch. I saw it last the other day but the cpu still pulled their pitcher in the 7th. I also noticed that his control was not as good and his velocity was down. I noticed this for my pitcher as well. I jumped back to 99 stamina but my meter was so much quicker than it was early in the game. Just my $0.02.
BUT, I do believe that having the number reset to 99 tells the computer that the pitcher is fresh, and thus keeps him in the game even though he is gassed. I think thats why some people are saying that Halladay is pitching into the 12th inning etc...Comment

Re: OS & BFJ Breakdown of the 2K10 Slider Theory...
I agree that I think that the number is cosmetic, as my pitcher meter certainly did not slow back down like at the beginning of the game, and I was also able to jack a homer off of what should have been a tired computer pitcher that had been reset. So yes, I agree that it is not detrimental to the play of the pitcher.

AGREED!!! But it will be addressed in the patch so need not worryComment

They are also on 2kshare as well for when you purchase the game.. These are the best I have played with so far and these definitely work for now.

Again guys if you seeing no offense from the AI don't compensate by jacking AI Contact-UP. This should be a mixture of AI Contact & USER Pitcher Composure Slider.
I hate the PCS as some have mentioned in the last couple of post, but I've noticed that moving the USER PCS to (75) & just moving AI Contact up 1 click to (40) it is generating some nice results.
Personally I think the Batter/Pitcher duels are done nicely & you definitely can see a difference in starters. Also everyone, use the Catcher Suggestion option. IT WORKS very well this year. On top of that don't be afraid to waste a couple of pitches in different areas of the zone.
Trust me you will see a differenceComment

Re: OS & BFJ Breakdown of the 2K10 Slider Theory...
I just jacked up human and CPU power and everything for me is pretty much solved.
Doubles, triples, HR's extra base hits actually happen!
I had the pitcher at 80+ pitches after 5 innings, totally different game now.PSN: JISTIC_OS

How far up did you jack them, CPU I have at 100 already, what about Human, like 60?Comment

Re: OS & BFJ Breakdown of the 2K10 Slider Theory...
I just finshed playing my first game under these sliders after downloading them from 2kshare. These sliders are great, although i lost my game 8-4 Yankees (Me) vs Red Sox, Both starters pitched a decent game. Javier Vazquez went 6.1 IP 10 H 2 ER with 8 Ks and 1 HR allowed. Josh Beckett went 6.2 IP 8 H 4 ER 2 Ks 2 HR. My bullpen just really blew the game up for me in the 8th allowing 3 runs in the 8th and then 2 runs in the 9th. Good job on the sliders guys. These sliders are number 1.Comment

Re: OS & BFJ Breakdown of the 2K10 Slider Theory...
i started using the Catcher Suggestion the past few games and it really makes a difference in cpu offense and user pitching. im no expert (til 2k10, havent played baseball since the mvp days). before using catcher sugg, i was pitching TOO well. hitting all my spots, only needing to throw a fb and cu, and only giving up 1-2 runs (using texas). started using catcher sugg the past 2 games, and ive given up 15 runs.Comment

Re: OS & BFJ Breakdown of the 2K10 Slider Theory...
I've finally settled on a slight variation of these sliders.
Hitting
USER/CPU
50C 50P/45C 100P
I bumped the Fielder Speed up to 40 for both and I'm getting a good amount of hit variety. Increasing the Fielder Speed helped to reduce the number of soft singles. The hitting is about as close as I'm going to get to real life averages. Here are the averages:
For all of MLB:
Singles/gm-8.950
2b/gm.-1.796
HR/gm.-1.037
Averages are slightly higher in the AL for obvious reasons.
Pitching
Again, to get the most realistic pitch counts I would highly suggest pitching to the Catcher Suggestions. As I and many have said...IT WORKS. This coupled with high CPU batting sliders helps create those great pitcher/batter situations that this game has been lacking.
Some MLB pitching averages:
BB/gm-3.41
K/gm.-6.91
All I need now is a patch to address a couple of the very annoying CPU base running glitches and few other things and we'll have the best game for the XBOX since MVP 2005.Comment

Joe didnt you say you decided to change the slider for throw meter from 0 to something higher, only reason I ask is cause I see it still says 0 on the front page, I thought i remember seeing you stateing otherwise somewhere on one of these pagesComment

I was testing it @ 75. Needs a little more testing, but as of right now I'm really liking 0Comment
