Glad to see people still playing this game. I'm thinking about giving it another go. I'd like to use the Mets, but the late-inning framerate drop has me concerned.

This game is fun, and a nice alternative to The Show, which I still play religiously.

Definitely. I'm playing it every bit as much as I was in April. And honestly, it's still every bit as fun and unpredictable. Have not noticed the late-inning framedrop though, yet.

I edited the Padres and played another game.

Me Dodgers vs. Cpu Padres.

I realized that I get too much Strikeouts. I don't know how to fix this. Hits are already high so I can't lower pitcher's success. Perhaps I should raise outfielders run speed and lower pitcher's success nonetheless?

Otherwise it was another fantastic ball game.

I would try some other pitching matchups before lowering any pitching sliders.

I have mine at 18, I have seen an acceptable and realistic number of injuries thus far.

On the PS3, how can the following be accomplished (via sliders):

* more wild pitches, in about the first ten games of the season I've only seen ONE wild pitch

* injuries,the only time I've seen any injuries is to my starting pitchers, and that's been a rarity

* botched fielding attempts, I'm seeing far too few errors. Even fewer wild throws.

* more variability in pitching control, DEPENDING ON THE PITCHER. I think that poor pitchers should be throwing more pitches that come nowhere near the strike zone, while better pitchers should have the AI flailing away at thin air.

* stronger outfield throws. In the number of games referenced above, I've already seen at least three (3) inside-the-park homeruns

* AI taking more pitches. I'm having way too many innings where the AI is gone in a total of above five pitches (mostly liners to the infield).

Otherwise, I'm still having a great time, and YES, this game IS BETTER THAN THE SHOW!. Take that, SONY!

Page 1 - post 1 has all the latest sliders. i don't think they are posted on 2K share, and if they are, most likely were an earlier build and not this set. doesn't take but a couple minutes to plug the numbers all in.

yes, those are the "final" set. if you see anything that is a struggle, just tweak to fit your needs or ask a question here and I (or others) can provide some helpful feedback. Having played a zillion games I can help you with stuff fairly quickly (if needed).

I just recently picked up MLB2k after playing The Show for the last 4 years. I inputted your sliders and am using the Marlins for my franchise and after 5 games have seen the whole array of different games. My first game was a pitchers duel that ended up with me hitting a walk off HR in the bottome of the 11th to win 1-0. Next game was a little closer with a 4-3 win. My last game was a hitting fest where I lost 10-8.

All in all its a great slider set. Very much appreciated!!

Hi, I am new to this forum, and was wondering if these sliders are universal, ie Can i use them for mlb 2k11 on ps3 as well? Also when i went into camera settings and changed fielding to 2k9 it only changes when I am fielding, but when the AI is fielding, it is not 2k9. Any idea how to change that?

Now I think I've found the right slider setup for my gameplay.

Important:
perhaps I'm crazy, but it seems to me there is a difference in gameplay when you change the slider's based of the different basic slider settings. With sliders based of all-star I nearly get 3-4 homeruns every game - per team! But when starting the sliders of legend I get a fair amount.

Had one of the best mlb experiences some minutes ago.
Played as the Giants @Atlanta.
Bumgarner vs. Jurrjens. It became a pitcher's game.
It was 0-0 going into the tenth as Sandoval finally homered.
Wilson came in to save.
Bumgarner had a strong outing, going for 9 IP, 0 H, 0R, 3 K, 4 BB.
Jurrjens was awesome, too. 9.2 IP, 4 H, 1 R (1 ER), 9 K, 1 BB.

These sliders play amazing all around. I have some varied games with my rangers. The only thing I recommend and its soley for swing stick adaptive is:

Human Contact > 35
Human Power >55

AI Pitch break > 100
