I'm still using a slightly modified version of these (most notably, I have cpu pitch success at 70), and I turned on the strike zone and put batters eye to 30, and it's made a huge difference. I feel like I can actually capitolize on a pitcher's mistakes now. 6 hr in my last 4 games. I've lost 5-0, won 15-11, won 3-2, and won 8-7 in 4 games. I even hit a HR with Michael Bourn (48 power - a shot down the line that just made it).

        Post Patch Update -

lowered infield and outfield speed to ALL 0's for both user and cpu. Since fielding is smoother the glitches seem to be gone. Wondering about lowering user power down 5 points as I seem to be drilling the ball post-patch. But maybe it was an anomaly... Not sure.

Glad to see you haven't given up on 2K12 yet!

Sunday - June 10th, 2:40 pm - Some minor changes (everything CORRECT on PAGE 1 / POST 1):

            - raised human batting contact to 25
            - lowered human batting power to 60
            - lowered human gather error frequency to 50
            - raised human catcher arm strength to 20

I believe these changes will be "final" (though I reserve that right...LOL!!). But I like how the game plays with these.

I'm not going to provide any roster updates as I'll be doing a fantasy draft and begin my association/gm mode by finally playing games for the enjoyment of the game.

This should pretty much wrap up my posts here, but if any future tweaks are made they'll be noted (but I really don't foresee any). Again, these are a base set - tweak to fit YOUR style AND enjoyment!

With power at 60-65, is it even possible for you guys to hit 4-5 HRs in a game, like real life? I've been using it at 80 for both CPU and User, and I'm averaging about 2 HR per game combined CPU and User, which is fine by. But at 60, seems low to me.

Looking around at the scores today, you see games where teams combine for 1 and then you see games where teams combine for 5-6+.

I do okay. I'm averaging .8 hr a game (nl average is .96). I've got 8 in my last 4 games. I'm still using it at 65, since it was working just about perfect for me at 20/65. I'm batting .258, and strike out 7 times a game.

                  Hello everybody!
I'm an italian baseball fan and i'm having some great time playing MLB 2k12.
I have some questions to you, but first of all i want to say a big big thanks to mkharsh33 and to all the other users that are "working" to make this game better.
First question: this sliders seems working good for me (but i set them today and i only played a couple of games), but i found the offence and the pitching a bit difficult; so i tried to set cpu power to 85, user contact to 35 and user pitching control to 15. What do you think about that? What parametres should i modify to make the game a bit more easy without compromise his statistical realism?
2)What are the Kfor9innings and HRfor9innings averages in real life? And how many pitches does a pitcher usually throw in an inning? How should the strike/ball count be?
3)Off-topic question: I'm playing mlb 2k in my PS3 and as i said i think it's an underrated game that provides hours of fun. But i read everywhere that mlb the show is so better: is it true? Or is it only a graphic issue? I think Franchise Mode is the most important mode in a sport game: what of this two games has the best one?

Thank you again for the useful posts that i found in this awesome forum, and sorry for my bad english!

hey man, ive been using your sliders against hetfields, and i feel like yours suit my abilities better - just wanted to thank you

i know these are final, but i feel that the throw accuracy for User Fielding is SUPER low.. i mean, right now im using these sliders in My Player -[3B / Slugger]- and i am tearing it up on the offensive side -[.339 AVG/6 HR/44 RBI/36 R]- but i have thrown 36 errors in 41 games..

i know my accuracy is very low at the start, but ive increased it to a 63.. at that number i dont think i should be hurling it over the first basemans head every other throw. im going to up the accuracy to 20, and lower the throwing error frequency to 35

Yeah its possible...I've actually had to bump down the User power slider a tad and I'm still experimenting with it. Because Miggy and Prince got so hot that they are connecting with at least 1 HR a game over a 8 game span. In fact, Prince and Miggy both had 3 HR games and both also had a few 2 HR games...hell Peralta had a 2 HR game!

It was strange because these sliders were working just fine for about 100 games, I must be getting a hell of a lot better haha.

MLB the Show is the better game in every aspect. It is the best baseball game out there. The graphics are twice as good and the presentation is amazing. 2k is pretty crappy an that's why it isn't getting renweed

Post has been reported to the moderators. It lends absolutely nothing to this thread, and has nothing to do with MLB 2K12 nor this slider set. If you want to criticize the sliders...fine. But you have a clear agenda that needs to be dealt with. Thanks.

Sorry. I knows this adds nothing of value to the thread, but that was funny and I had to acknowledge it.
I just want a hockey and football game where I can spend more time playing my seasons then I spend changing my sliders.

As a fellow slider maker, what's your opinion on steal tendency? I personally think 40 is still too high and I think I'm going to lower it in my set.
