I left it at 40. I don't know if that's the best or not, but at 35 I wasn't seeing the steal aggressiveness. Even non-burners will attempt some steals every now and then.

This latest set has given me a wide range of outcomes - really like where they are.

Ok, I quite enjoy this game on my PS3. Sure i have The Show but i much prefer 2k for various reasons including the franchise mode. That being said would these slider sets translate well to the PS3? I know some game don't so well but im curious about 2k.

      Thanks.

Can I ask you what is the main difference between the 2 Franchise Modes? Answer in MP if we are OT.

It doesn't matter what system you play on, the sliders will work just fine on the PS3.

Guys - after playing 7 or 8 more games, I've tweaked just a FEW small things. I'm at the office now but will post them later in the day. The patch really did change this game more than I first realized. It's good stuff, but I found myself being frustrated as I've made the user side a bit too hard. But I'll note them here, and should be able to officially call them a "final" set. Thanks for your patience & feedback!!

2k's franchise mode is so so sooooo much deeper than the shows. The work that 2k puts into their stat tracking, contracts both current and ones you sign players too. The way the different teams handle their players and free agent signings. The show has teams trading away players that would never EVER be moved for anything, and trade blocks are way out of whack.

This is also NOT a fanboy rant, i own and play both games regularly, I just feel that 2k puts far more work into the finer points of the game that Sony has never worried about.

These sliders are a real challenge. I'm having a hard time making good contact with the ball. I think switching between this and The Show is harder than I thought it would be.

You're not the first to say this... I want EACH at-bat to make me lock in. Most guys only have to do this 3-5 at bats, but in a video game you've got to do this 27 times. But the simulation of this set, once you get the feel of this game, is probably the best experience I've had since my Tony LaRussa Baseball days 20 years ago.
