Working today, , will test tonight. I like the 100 power, good to see HR on both sides, but nothing crazy, including different players.

Started a fantasy draft franchise today and played my first game with these sliders, I'm VERY happy with these!

I won 9-5

9R 16H 3E
5R 9H 0E

I had 5 home runs, all with the normal swing, but realistic FB home runs. The CPU team had 2 HRS.

I saw errors, seeing eye base hits, doubles, great defensive plays, etc.. even the camera settings are great.

Can't wait to get a few more games in tonight, but after one game I'm amazed at how much better this game plays with a great slider set! The AI improvements alone are worth the price of 2k13, at least in my eyes. The AI at least makes realistic pitching and hitting substitutions.

Oh, I also stole a base with Granderson where the CPU catcher threw it over the 2B head, pretty neat to see as well as a CPU runner taking a chance on a hit trying to stretch it into a double and I threw him out.

I saw about all I could ask for in that one game...

One thing about the camera settings bigfnjoe has, appears to me it elevates the pause on foul balls. It also has me walking more hitters and I didn't have any fielding issues. Game seemed very smooth with those settings!

I'm going to stay with the settings before these changes for now. I think INF run speed is perfect at 10, at least right now. The rest seem dead on too.. but I'll wait until I have some more games under my belt to really test them.

2nd game lost 5-3, only had 1 HR and the CPU had 3. Had a nice double down the line. So I still like the 35-100 and 45-100 AI/CPU contact/power numbers you had before.

How is the hitting with the 40/80 numbers?

Not sure as I haven't tested them. Wait til next year uses them & feels they are giving him some realistic results

Hopefully some more people will test. Even with your original 45 CPU contact, which I have been using, I still struck out the CPU hitters 16 times total last game.

Edit: ok, I see that WTNY uses 50 for CPU contact.. that might be good. I might try his changes for a game or two as well..

The great thing is.. you guys are VERY close to final sliders, IMHO. That's what ST is for, get the sliders down and then lead right into my season.

Hopefully some more people will test. Even with your original 45 CPU contact, which I have been using, I still struck out the CPU hitters 16 times total last game.

Good sliders so far however with CPU contact at 50 I struck out 10 batters in 5 innings with Danny Duffy with KC. Still in spring training in my franchise with KC I'm leading the league in strikeouts being 11 above the 2nd best team through 5 games. Some of the strikeouts are looking but I'm seeing a lot of swinging and missing by the CPU. Going to crank up the cpu contact to 55 and see what that does. I have their power at 100.

I'm going to play 5 games before changing anything - still using bigfnjoe's original sliders. Two games with my top 2 pitchers and Josh Johnson had 9k's, which is probably realistic. Even with IF speed @ 10, I hit a nice double down the line and was safe on a SS diving play.

I'm actually leaning towards making base runner speed 45 instead of decreasing IF speed. I was nailed by a mile trying to move up from 2b to 3b on a ball hit close to the wall in CF and my runner was a 78 speed.

I am not seeing a huge deal with composure this year compared to 2k12. I have Braves rotation so pretty solid. Also, using coach call out and inside edge helps calm it.

Joe thanks for the sliders, great set man, FYI the camera settings are freaking perfect too, I'll tell ya, I'm really loving the game this year, people give the game a bad score, but I'm enjoying it.
