Another good game..

Lost 6-3, 2 HRs for CPU and 1 for me. I struck out the CPU 9 times.

I did make a couple of changes:

OF speed down to 15 for both CPU/Human (too many diving catches) I don't mind an occasional diving catch by a great fielder, but there were 4 total last game.. too many for my tastes.

Base running up 5 to 45 for both CPU/Human. A few deep balls in the hole and a bobbled ball thrown for outs on speedy runners. I also think this will help with stolen bases for 95+ speed runners.

JOE I just wanted to post my exact sliders that I've been playing with over that past couple days. It's a hybrid between your set, MK's set, and my own tweaks. Ive been getting some awesome results, and a great variety in games. I just wanted everyone to see exactly what Ive been using to get these results. Below is your sliders from the OP with the numbers I'm using next to it, if theres nothing there then its the same number.

If you followed the instructions on page 1 for inputting the sliders, then you did nothing wrong.

Looks like you just has the Tigers number ;-)

Keep playing & tweaking the sliders as you see fit.

MizzouRah, I think bumping baserunning speed to 45 is a good suggestion. I have seen some stuff that would suggest a bump, but was waiting to see if others felt the same way

Glad you're enjoying the camera settings! No doubt it really adds to the pitcher/batter duels. Someone mentioned that it could be causing slowdowns on foul balls. I never really thought about that, but it could be possible as I never really tried other cameras.

I'm hopeful that 2k will support the game this season with some tweaking patches. Really enjoying your sliders, Joe.

Getting some varied scores also, with some higher scoring games, a couple 1-0 games, never the same game twice -

Is anyone feeling with user power at 80 that it's too easy to hit HRs? Granted I'm using the Nationals, and have only played 2 games, but i've already hit I think 3 HRs using the contact swings, and I think 2 of them were no doubters.

I've lowered my power down from 80 to 65 I think, I'll see how that goes......

Baserunner Speed has been bumped to 45 for both User & CPU. Those changes are reflected on page-1.

It seems like we have ourselves a base set.

Got game in last night, Took 8 year old to see Braves play Mets in spring training game(2-1 Braves win) ''

My game was:
Braves 3 Nationals 4 - 10 innings

Great game where I took early 3-0 lead and they fought back to tie it in bottom of ninth 3-3. I kept pitcher in game too long, and they tied it up. Bottom of tenth they got to walk-off hit to win it 4-3. Great feeling game, and this is with latest set on OP.

yeah man, your batting camera is almost perfect, don't think I can use anything else right about now.
