Damn! Legend?

Does anyone have any sliders for All Star? I'm hitting a few too many HRs and the AI is absolutely crushing the ball. Should I move AI Power down to 40? Contact down to 45? What about skill? 45?

Who's getting good results on All Star?

Trust me Badgun. Try these. Remember the Level really only affects human contact. It has no effect on the AI hitting with the sliders turned on.

Legend

CPU Run Aggr. 55
All CPU throw strikes at 45
Everything else at 50

low wide camera angle for batting
pitcher view for pitching
power pitching off
batting classic
swing feedback on

Trust me Badgun. Try these. Remember the Level really only affects human contact. It has no effect on the AI hitting with the sliders turned on.

they are great Snate, but we must remind that custom sliders need to be turned "on".

I just played 2 against Toronto in GM Career mode with these sliders.

The first game I got blitzed 9-1.(I'm Detroit)

2nd game I won 4-2....had 10 hits to Toronto's 7......plus I K'd 7 batters...walked 2....great game.

In 2 games there has been 4 HR's hit by both teams combined....except I have "0"...lol...but I am getting better at hitting.

This game reminds me of MLB so much in that you really need to make good contact to be rearded...no chessy fist job's for HR's....bat-head is key.

Exactly. I think many don't realize that. Heck, I didn't until it was posted earlier on in this thread. I had too many HR's on All Star, but the games were usually close. I figured if I bumped it to Legend, the CPU would just kill me. Not the case. It cutdown on my power numbers and all the hits I was getting, but with a few tweaks of the CPU Hitting sliders, I'm getting some great games!

I did the same thing. If you want to make it more challenging, play on Legend and lower the Human Power slider (mine is at 40). The Devil Rays held me to 2 runs and 5 hits when I tried it. I face Boston soon so I'll have a better idea of how good these sliders are.
