Is noone working on sliders?? I am having some serious problems striking out the AI. I have tried putting contact down to 25 and skill at 45. This is way below what these guys recommend. BTW, i am playing on AS level. It seems like i can get strikes on the AI but they ALWAYS hit the 3rd strike. Any ideas?

I've found that throwing high and away fastballs just out of the zone is resulting in a fair amount of K's for me. I also use the effort meter and throw those fastballs at anything above 80%. That's worked a lot.

I also try curve balls with about 60% effort low and out of the strike zone, but not bouncing it in the dirt.

Dont your pitchers tire really quickly? I was doin about the same effort as you and my starting pitcher with a 127 stanima was toast after 60 pitches.

The pitching fatigue is definitely one that needs to be bumped up some. Mark Mulder was showing as tired in the 4th inning in my game last night after 50 pitches.

Well I guess this begs the question - Which way on the slider increases stamina? I have it set at 45 and was able to have starters throw 100+ pitches into the 8th before having to yank them.

I wasn't sure if increasing this slider meant that you were increasing fatigue or if it meant more fatigue.

These have given me pretty good games. The last few games I've been able to put a decent amount of runs on the board late in the game. I'm not sure if this is a slider problem or just luck.

Just waiting for Millenium's final roster before I start my franchise. Hopefully I'll have settled on a set of sliders.

No problem. Let me know how it turns out and if you think anything should be changed. I'm still experimenting so anyway to make an already very good game better is fine by me!

Like I mentioned above, I'm also not sure how the fatigue slider works. I tried to test it earlier today during a game, but messed up and I think I accidentally said "no" to enable sliders during my test. So that obviously messed the whole thing up!

                              JB,
I'm just now incorporating your sliders too. Let me know if you make any changes to them.
