    JB,
I'm just now incorporating your sliders too. Let me know if you make any changes to them.

      Re: Official Slider Discussion

Just played a game with joeboo's sliders. Brewers (me) @ Astros. I lost 4-3. Each team had 1 homer and 1 error. I had 11 hits to Houston's 10. I drew 4 walks, they had 2. Overall it was probably the most accurate, realistic game I've had. I usually had too many homers, as many as 6 or 8 per game. Great sliders!

            Re: Official Slider Discussion

Alright guys. Here's a game I just played with my sliders. I thought I'd let you guys see the type of games I've been getting. I'll preface this by stating that I wasn't patient at all the first 4 innings so some of the CPU pitcher numbers might be a little skewed. Anyhow here goes:

            STL vs ANA (Me)
            Matt Morris vs Bartolo Colon

Final Score: STL 3 ANA 2

            STL: 3 runs 11 hits 0 errors
ANA: 2 runs 9 hits 3 errors (pulled 1B off the bag three times)

            CARDINALS:

            Matt Morris 7.2 IP 6 hits 2 R 2 ER 2 BB 8 K
            Cal Eldred 1 IP 3 hits 0 R 0 ER 0 BB 0 K
            Isringhausen .1 0 hits 0 R 0 ER 0 BB 0 K

            Morris: 96 - 71, Eldred 18-14, Isringhausen 4-3

            ANGELS

            Bartolo Colon 8 IP 10 hits 3 R 0 ER 1 BB 4 K
            Ben Weber 1 IP 1 hit 0 R 0 ER 0 BB 0 K

            Colon: 101-69, Weber 9-6

            ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just a few thoughts. Great game although the K total for Colon seemed a little low. I might have to adjust some of the CPU take ball/take strike sliders - maybe a notch or 2.

Pitch counts seem pretty good. Colon was having trouble finding the strike zone at 101 pitches. I yanked him because he gave up a leadoff single in the 9th and I didn't want the game to get blown open.

As I said earlier, I swung at A LOT of balls out of the strike zone when Morris was on the hill. Probably why his strike total is pretty high.

Only problem is a problem with the game. Pulled my 1B off the bag 3 times for errors. One of which led to a STL HR which is why Colon had 0 ER. However, all were on plays where my infielder made a nice play running to his side and made a running throw to 1B.

Anyhow, I'll let you guys know if I edit these. About the only thing I might change right now is the CPU Hitting take strike/ball sliders.

Thanks!! I'm glad you like them. I've been happy with the results that I've gotten as well. Still fine tuning them though. All in all, I'm quite happy with the results and will probably use these with a few very small tweaks once I start my Franchise. Just waiting till Millenium gets his roster update finished (possibly tomorrow or beginning of next week from what he said in the Roster Forum).

No I haven't had any problems and no there isn't a slider for CPU speed.

My only advice would be to make sure you preload your throws. If you have a grounder to your SS, make sure to hold the button to throw to 2B while you are approaching the ball. Oh yeah, make sure you goto the ball - don't let it come to you. Then once your SS has thrown to 2B, hold the button to throw to 1B. This way the throw is pre-loaded and the double play will happen faster.
