My God! EA isn't defrauding anyone! Do you have even a vague concept of what the BBB is actually for?!?

i don't think these guys are complaining to the bbb about the game being crummy. i think they're complaining about the piss poor customer service. from the emails that have been posted lately, i'd say that beef is legit.

Why do you all feel the need to crash every thread that doesn't glorify the game? Seriously, just leave this thread to the people who feel wronged by EA and let them hope for some resolution.

So what if we want to go through the BBB? Is that going to somehow hurt you?

If the BBB doesn't think its a legit complaint they will dismiss it. That isn't your job.

            Well said

personally this is a big problem with me, what if in ncaa or madden all the new rookies and recruites only got up to 70 ovr? would that be a problem? YES.

This is definatley and issue and a bug, and EA should definatley resolve this issue. the game is broke, they should fix it, they sold a broke, buggy unfinished game. EA is at fault

But even NBA Live's Franchise "bug" (I don't think it's a bug I think EA did it on purpose because the CPU was snagging FAs up before we could touch them) had a semi-reasonable work-around..... just don't touch the FAs, or touch only one or two.

Things like the Live "bug" aren't as massive as this one... at least in NBA Live 10 years down the line there are a few superstars in the high 80s (assuming we are using the NBA Live generated drafts). And at least for the most part CPU teams don't field totally unbalanced teams though you may see a team starting a PF at SF here and there.

I'm not expecting franchise mode to be perfect. It's okay to have a few flaws here and there. They are humans, I understand that everything cannot be perfect. At the same time, it shouldn't have a significant amount of flaws, either, that can't be worked around reasonably. If I have a few flaws on a term paper, I get an 87 on it. If I had gaping flaws like whoa that totally missed the boat, I'll most likely be getting below 60. I think that's the beef of many of these people around here. The amount of significant flaws in franchise mode that can't be worked around within reason.

And really, why should people who are satisfied with the game care about those of us who aren't? Do they think EA is going to take away their copy and replace it? Is Best Buy going to come to their house and charge an extra $7.53 for their part of the costs of patching/replacing the game? No. If they choose not to take advantage of any reparations EA is forced to give, fine. I, for one, would like to play a game that allows me to fully utilize the features it advertised.
