Don't get the Red Sox homers started. They'll tell you that Manny is truly and under-appreciated gold glove caliber outfielder.

I'm a red sox homer and the only reason Manny has those assists is the fact it's like 20 feet from the OF to 2nd or third from LF and teams run on him every chance he gets so he has plenty of chances.

Yea, no self-respecting person would say Manny is gold-glove caliber.

If we do trade Milledge for Dunn, at least we will plug both RF and LF with more than capable bats. Dunn in Fenway would be a home-run derby. Still, I'd rather just nix this whole thing and keep Manny!

But to get Milledge we have to give up Hanley and I still don't think we do that. Manny/Hanley/Shoppach/Sanchez for Dunn/Cameron/Heilaman/Huff...i don't see that. It's better than before but still not equal.

dude think about this.. manny does not want to play for boston anymore.. he refused to play for francona the other day. boston is tired of him..

but how can you not like the idea of huff and dunn and cameron helping the defense.. and you get heilman also..

thats not a bad line up and you get pitching help..

If we get Dunn out of all of this, I'm elated. If we don't, I'm pissed. Simple as that.

And he's at the bottom of the AL in terms of Zone Rating and Range Factor. He's a terrible fielder.

I'd love to get Dunn and sign him long term because he would flourish in Fenway, but I still don't like having to give up on Hanley so early in his career, especially if we would give him to a division foe who, if they increased their payroll and actually tired to get amazing players, would challenge for the division.

I really don't want to see Dunn in Boston. I really like Dunn....I don't want to have to start hating him.

I won't hate Damon when he puts on a Yankee's uniform next season.

I'll hate the uniform, but I'll never hate that man, he's done too much for the Sox to ever be hated by me, at least.
