But would Sheffield being a roid user really crush ppl's hearts? I don't think so. I'm still fearing it could be Jeter. If that were the case it'd be the biggest bombshell to hit baseball since Pete Rose got banned from the game.

I never said he was in icon, he's well liked and it would crush a lot of people if he tested positive. Please pay attention next time.

If it was Clemens and Jeter I'd be shocked. Clemens because it would put a huge blemish on an amazing career and Jeter because, and I'm a Red Sox fan saying this, he supposedly epitomizes what a baseball player should be. Leadership quality, pure hustle. He doesn't put up the greatest stats but he is always giving 110% and seems to always make an impact during every big game.

Not a problem, I'm not one to push the limits so I'll stop. I still say Ortiz testing positive would crush more hearts than Pizza testing positive, but that's a whole other arguement.

My final guess is one of the Yankee big three(Arod/Jeter/Sheff) hell even Mo might be it, and Clemens.

I think Jeter being on steroids would rip the heart out of baseball right now...like Sportsman said, I think he's the face of the modern true baseball player to a lot of people

This brings us to the bigger point. If these 2 big names are indeed announced, is it good or bad for baseball? I think you could make a reasonable argue in either direction.
