All speculation on your part. We have heard the grand jury testamony and all of the facts from the book. If they were lies why didnt he sue for slander? He just sued so these guys didnt make any money off of his cheating. If that doesnt prove his guilt, I dont know what else would. You Bonds homers are sad. Thanks for making me laugh.

There is no question Bonds is a jerk. I have met him many times. And he wasn't a jerk all the time, just most!lol And Andy is a jerk too, and so was Bobby B. Being a pro athlete they think they have the right to be. I think it has to do with everybody kissing their butts their whole life!

Every pro player I have played with in Highschool were are conceited and jerk lol.

I believe that accuracy is just as important as strength (granted, a 5 MPH throw that hits the bag doesn't outweigh a 110 MPH throw that hits the bag over the intended bag in my eyes). Or, maybe I'm saying that strength is not the only determinant to consider that one of somebody's tools is in the Throwing department. Accuracy is needed, and Bonds could arguably be the most accurate outfield thrower in all of baseball.

Also, Bonds doesn't have a terrible glove, either. Granted, he no longer has the range (due to lack of acceleration and deceleration, and probably aggressiveness [all relating to now being injury-prone]), but he can still rob a home run or make a very nice shoe-string catch if he gets to the ball. I mean, back when he was pretty much a stud. Now, I think he puts all of the other big and old guys to shame in terms of a good outfield defense.

But you know what? "Great release and accuracy" or not, his arm still sucked. That's why he ended up in left in the first place.

Yeah he was. Van Slyke was the only guy who could come close to having the ego that Barry has. That's why those 2 clashed so bad. They HATED each other when they played here. Both got into fights in the lockerroom on numerous occassions.

Drafted and came up with the Dodgers, shipped to the Bucs in '85, signed with Atlanta at the end of the '90 season.

Most accurate arm in all of baseball? You can't be serious.

HAHAHA. I was watching SportsCenter and during the Giants game today, somebody in the stands threw a large seringe at Bonds. Opening Day and its already starting.

Good. That is as good as the guy who ran on the field and threw cork at Sammy.

I'm not saying it to defend Bonds in his lack of steroid usage (we all know that there was at least little used, whether knowingly or not), but I was trying to make a case against Pujols.

Granted, I don't believe that Pujols is on steroids. Hell, my approach on believing who has taken steroids and who hasn't is so miniscule that I still believe that Sosa (who I hate more than any player in the majors because of his undeservative overratedness) was not on steroids until undeniable proof.

But, as for Sammy's case (like I've said before), he had some lucky seasons in my mind. That, and his jealousy came in the Home Run Derbies. At Fenway in 1999, he hit 1 home run while McGwire had a 13 homer round. The next year in Atlanta, I believe he used the cork (same in Miller Park in 2002), when all of his balls launched. After all, he admitted that he uses a corked bat during batting practice to "put on a show". I think the same should be said for his Home Run Derby appearances.

No, what is funny are you guy destroying this guy. But that is cool. I find it funny that Conti said the books were a bunch of lies, but after the investigation is over then maybe everybody can move on once and for all! And if they find out he took them.
I have no problem punishing him, but the truth is Baseball is who created this. They knew, but didn't do anything about it, because it was putting people in the seats, especially because of the strike!

He started out with LA, then came to Pgh, then to ATL and then 1 season with HOU (I don't even remember that). The majority of his career was in Pgh..
