I don't like hearing about players being busted and about the investigations, but I like to know who are the ones using.

Of all the O's, if Roberts is in there, I might never watch baseball again. Sure he had a torrid start to last year, and he's not shown that much power (zero HR's) this year... but remember, he dislocated his elbow on a freak play late last year, so I'm giving BRob the benefit of the doubt with his power slump. Maybe he just wasn't able to train during the offseason like he did before. Who knows though.

He's still hitting at .300, so he's not some schmo with the bat, but his power numbers have definitely gone down. I attribute that to the elbow dislocation/fracture and hopefully not the juice.

As for his contacts, there hasn't been any mention of it in the local papers... but that doesn't mean he's not wearing them.

There's a part in that affidavit on page 14 where Grimsley said that a guy he played with last year talked openly about his use of amphetamines... so obviously one of the Orioles was using.... the question is who?

Probably 1/2 the team. Seriously......from what I've read, it's odd NOT to play a game at the MLB level without amphetamines in your system.

Players call guys who aren't using amphetamines during a game as "playing naked".

I read that, and you've got to think it's a possibility. I really despise the Cards as a Cubs fan, but if Albert Pujols was using any performance-enhancers, it would ruin the game for me.

It might not be politically correct, and may also be a sad reflection of the current game, but if Pujols does get dragged into this I hope that its only because of amphetamines. It seems like most players relied on amphetamines and I can accept that, though I still want them out of the game. If Pujols gets linked to steroids or HGH though then that will truely be a sad day for baseball.

But then again Deadspin a while back said Clemens would be facing a 50 game suspension for steroids so I'll take this with a grain of salt and hope this is wrong to.

You guys need to realize this how sports are now! Roids and HGH is a big part of the sports world! That is just the generation we are in! So if Albert is guilty I still don't care, because that is the just the life of the sports world! Also, sports are starting to become a entertainment and not just a game!
