Padres are looking for a 3B and a Starting pitcher or another reliever

3rd Basemen pads are looking at are.....Koskie, Hall, Betimet and Marte

Aaron Boone is also a possibility for the Padres, and if they want Rudy Seanez they can have him, i'll even pay his airfare from Boston to San Diego.

Is it me or is Klesko permanently on the trade block for the Pads?

He's there for good and so is Vinny. Klesko lost his job when Adrian continue to put up better numbers at Petco for the time being than Klesko and Klesko still whinning about Petco,that also doesn't help his case. Then Vinny not hitting has lost his job to a platoon of Belhorn and Blum.

Klesko probably could help someone who needs a left handed bat with some power, but i imagine his days in the field are over so he would have to be a DH.

And Vinny Castilla is done. He is the poster child for the "Coors Field effect" and can't hit anywhere except for Colorado. I can't think of any team that would take a chance on Castilla.

Since we're talking about the Padres, anyone heard anything about Morgan Ensberg possibly ending up with San Diego?.

Yeah, I have heard Morgan Ensberg's name pop up but no rumors as to who would be included in the deal or Miguel Cabrera is being mentioned.

I hope we get him without giving TOO much up. I see Monroe, Miner or Robertson, and a minor league pitcher going to the Phillies for him, which would be pretty good IMO.
