Re: Bonds Indicted!
I never actually thought I'd see the day. I still find it hard to believe he'll ever got convicted though and do any real time. If it comes out that he did indeed take anabolic steroids that will give Selig any and all ammo he needs. At any rate, his career is over as no one will want to invest any money in a hitter with this type of baggage.Comment

Re: Bonds Indicted!
Bonds is going to the slammer IMO. There's no way the Feds are going to let him walk for lying to the Grand Jury. I bet he serves a year at least.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: Bonds Indicted!
So now Bond's attorney is alleging that the indictment had been leaked to media outlets to let them prepare for its release to the public in total. Normally I'd be skeptical, but think for just a moment.
This indictment information comes a few days afterMark Fainaru-Wada left the SF Chron and joined ESPN.

Re: Bonds Indicted!
McGwire pleaded the 5th, which is a Constitutional right.
Bonds lied, which is a federal offense.
It's definitely because Bonds is black [/sarcasm]Comment

Re: Bonds Indicted!
I honestly think this is bs, there is many more people who lied, and honestly they don't have enough proof if you ask me, you can't just say because of his body or whatever, that's an opinion. He will get out of this I can feel it.Comment

Re: Bonds Indicted!
How do you know what proof they have? Are you on the case?Comment

Re: Bonds Indicted!
You are right. They have no proof. The Federal Government just felt like wasting everyone's time and taxpayer money just to go after Barry Bonds.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I thought this was a pretty good article on the subject.

Re: Bonds Indicted!
Bonds lied... McGuire Lied... Sosa Lied... Palmerio lied and then got caught... all these guys are going to deny deny deny until they are red in the face. If these guys didn't know what they were taking it's their fault. Personally I would indicte all of them. Make all of them held accountable for the actions instead of passing the blame onto someone else.BeyondMediaOnline.comComment
