Are you kidding me? The absolute Bonds apologist is more then willing to base whether or not Sosa did roids on the difference between sports cards from his rookie year and most recently?
In response to your other thread, Palmeiro, for all intents and purposes, seems to have been blackballed from baseball and I seriously doubt he will ever make the HOF because of it. Bonds went in and lied to a grand jury about an ongoing investigation, or thats what they are saying, its a completely different situation then Palmeiro shaking his finger at congress when they were doing nothing more then having exploratory talks about steroids and baseball.Comment

Re: Bonds Indicted!
Im pretty sure there is a lot more evidence other then looking at his cards. For instance, dont forget he already admitted to using steroids but he claims he didnt know they were steroids, that in itself is a big difference. Keep apologizing for him, there are reports now that he actually failed a steroids test, but Im sure it will be explained away that it was the clear or the cream or the flaxseed oil, ie. Marion Jones, the entire defense by Bonds is laughable.Comment

The Feds are contending that Bonds by lying and trying to cover things up hindered with their case against BALCO. So it's not just "oh well he lied" Bonds actually obstructed justice hence that charge along with perjury.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: Bonds Indicted!
Bonds lied... McGuire Lied... Sosa Lied... Palmerio lied and then got caught... all these guys are going to deny deny deny until they are red in the face. If these guys didn't know what they were taking it's their fault. Personally I would indicte all of them. Make all of them held accountable for the actions instead of passing the blame onto someone else.
It is now alleged that Bonds did.Comment

I don't see how they will have enough to arrest him.Comment

Re: Bonds Indicted!
This isn't about arresting someone. He's been indicted. That's a heck of a lot worse. The United States judicial system doesn't indict someone on a whim. They've been investigating this case for four years. Chances are they have enough hard evidence to convict him or get a plea deal out of him. They have DNA proof he took these drugs, for crying out loud.Comment
