Sup guys, I'm new. I just got WSB2K3 and I Love it. I got some slider settings that are givin me some amazing realism. I've done ALOT of tinkering and decided to post them. Please tell me what you guys think.

Difficulty: legend
Sliders: custum
Pitch Speed: very fast
Cursor: very small
Pitch Cursor: off
Strike Zone: off
Active Bullpen: on
Variable Pitching: high
Pitch Preview: off

CPU Pitching Ability: 100
CPU Batting AVG: 55
CPU Batting Eye (balls): 40
CPU Batting Eye (strikes): 40
CPU Throws Strikes: 1
CPU Stealing %: 45

I'm using your settings, and I'm getting realistic results. I've only lowered these two options:

CPU Batting AVG: 40
CPU Stealing %: 40

The batting eye is so they draw more walks. I have gotten VERY realistic results w/ these.

u gotta turn up tha CPU pitch ability or u will kill them. and u MUST have variable pitching on high for ne realism.

I have sliders set on mine (I'm at work right now so I don't know the settings) but my franchise is going fine except Giambi is just killing the ball. Everybody elses stats are perfect but Giambi's numbers are astronomical. Is he just that good in the game?

I have sliders set on mine (I'm at work right now so I don't know the settings) but my franchise is going fine except Giambi is just killing the ball. Everybody elses stats are perfect but Giambi's numbers are astronomical. Is he just that good in the game?

All-Star difficulty, but I use Timed Hitting, (never liked Cursor) and I have the strike zone and Pitrch preview on, just till I get a better eye. (I'm getting there, slowly but surely) anyways

Small box score:

FLA : 000 000 000 0 0 0 1

FLA: 68 through 9 innings, then 9 through 2/3
SEA: 65 through 6, 12 through 1, 28 through 3 with 15 total SO'S between my 3 pitchers

then I played Cin at Bos

I killed them 12-1

although out side of the 2nd inning 7 run hit fest, they held me in check, with only a couple of runs in a couple more innnins later in the game.

I like them.

I was Bos, Pedro had 15 SO's so....good pitching lots of So's, bad pitching...not so many
