Is anyone experiencing absolute homerun futility from the CPU?
I'm playing every game as Oakland on All-Star level and am also unbeaten over the same stretch. I really don't know how to proceed at this point. I didn't write the book on pitching or anything, I'm just throwing to the corners and changing speeds. The CPU, apparently, is helpless against this. They do get some hits (mostly flares), but by-and-large they just lay down for nine innings while my teams spanks doubles all over the park.
This is not to say that I'm exactly a slugger up there. Chavez has one for me and so does Durazo, but that's it. 2 HRs over 22 games.
Things aren't looking good for MVP now. A lot of the game I enjoy immensely, but these nagging issues are really starting to wear on me. There's a definite possibility that I could be making the exchange for WSB tomorrow, which also has its problems from what I hear.
