maybe you guys should use a crappy team like my Padres. I gave up a few homers in a game to Shawn Green using Kevin Jarvis as my pitcher. I'm playing on all-star

Maybe turning off the ball cursor or having it on fade, will make the pitching harder and thus force you to give up some homruns. I'll give that a try.

OH, DEFINITELY!!! You have to do this! I have it on fade, i think i'll switch to off, it makes it much harder. If it's on all the time, then you can position the target right at the absolute edge of the strike zone and just paint all day. you MUST put it on fade at the very least.

In the 10 games I've played in my season, I haven't seen a single one....useing both the fade cursor, and a garbage team (Orioles). Oh course, I have also yet to manage a HR yet. The only one I saw was from Richie Sexon during my exhibition game (off John Stephens).
It's pretty much my favorite animal. It's like a lion and a tiger mixed... bred for its skills in magic.

Try this, turn off the strikezone and hot/cold zones. Pitchers don't see this in real life, why should they now... I think it gives you too much of an advantage. It's better to guess where NOT to pitch it.

Agreed, and I am going to try it tonight, maybe I won't have to try to give up a homerun

If you want to see the hitters hot/cold zones, I think you can go to their playing card.

It would be neat if the hot/cold zones had a fade option like the pitching cursor.

My first 30 games the computer had 0 homeruns on me, very lame. However i figured out that in order to get the computer to chase pitches you have to throw them just out of the hitters hot or normal zones, every once in a while ill make a mistake and boom, but i also get around 7-9 K's a game, the computer has hit 3 HR's in the last 4 games, i dont know maybe this will help.
