    I'm lovin' this.
Over/under on Griffey playing 120 games? Under @ 75. I know he'll be in a platoon role but we've already got a grizzled inury-prone vet in Chipper...I don't like putting the hopes of a season on these 2 guys. That's why GM Wren wouldn't even sign Smoltz - too risky w/injuries

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

LOL! This is RIDICULOUS. I don't even care who he plays for now. Just get it over with!

Both Griffey and Goldberg said a story in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution on Tuesday morning that said he had chosen the Braves, is not accurate.

Hold the phone. Griffey says he still hasn't made up his mind, and may not until tomorrow.

Ordinarily, I'd think this was just waiting till all the i's are dotted and t's are crossed. But with as many close-calls the Braves have had this offseason, I'm fully prepared for him to turn back around and sign with Seattle now...

LOL, yeah I wouldn't be surprised if it fell through either.

I'd like to see Jr out there for the Braves, I think he'd be a big draw, especially the beginning of the season. Although if the Braves were going to take a chance on an aged player, I would have rather it had been Smoltzie.

Dave O'Brien is saying the AJC is confident with their source and that the story is accurate. We'll see.

The SeattleTimes beat reporter says his source, who is involved in the negotiations, says its Atlanta as well.

It's not quite a done deal yet but it looks like a foregone conclusion that Griffey will be a Brave.

That depends on where you're getting your information from. The Braves beat writer is saying that Griffey will sign with Atlanta.

I would bet that a Braves fan who also happens to be a mod changed it.

Yea this could really help the Braves out now. Let hope it does not fall through or it is make things worse.
