Re: 6/8-6/14 MLB Discussion
Reds go to Washington for a 3 game set starting Tuesday. I should say we will take all three, but right now I'd have my fingers crossed for two.
After the Nationals we head to Kauffman to take on the Royals in some interleague action. Again I'm hoping for 2 out of 3. -

The biggest MLB rivlary not being Bos vs NYY kicks off Tuesday.
I say Phils win the series 2-1 (getting a W from Johan's start).Originally posted by Edmund BurkeAll that is needed for the triumph of evil, is for good men to do nothing.Comment

Never thought i'd type this but the Jays are in for a test against the Rangers. I'm hoping this road trip is less of a nightmare then the last one.

You SHOULD take all 3. That team is the NLs punching bag. How the Mets couldn't take 3, even w/ the injuries, is just beyond me.

I know we should take all 3, but the Reds seem to have trouble with the Nationals sometimes.Comment

Whew!
That wasn't exactly the most comfortable 6-3 victory for the Jays there. The 6th inning was pretty crazy too! Great ballgame and Adam Lind's first ever multi-HR game.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: 6/8-6/14 MLB Discussion
This sucks. All of you guys have the chance to discuss your teams because they're all contending and actually having a chance while I sit here with dwindling my thumbs for tomorrow's draft, obviously prepared that the Padres will find a way to botch the number three pick.
Edit: Something must be wrong with me, but I always get a chuckle reading "x player hit by pitch" in a gameday box score. Maybe it's because there's no visual aid, but it just sounds funny.
Edit 2: Looks like opposing managers finally got the memo. Adrian walked again. 16 times in the last nine games.
Edit 3: Hell must've frozen over, a Padre hit with the bases loaded.Last edited by BatsareBugs; 06-08-2009, 10:37 PM.Comment
