Re: 6/8-6/14 MLB Discussion
A run and a runner on third thanks to Howard's "Milton Moment"
(To be clear, I'm just referring to mental error...he didn't toss the ball into the stands...lol)
EDIT: J. Bay! 3-0
EDIT #2: So apparently metal gaffs are the order of business this weekend.
5-0 in the first, mostly due to Philly slop. (I'll certainly take it though)

Re: 6/8-6/14 MLB Discussion
A) Carlos Silva pitching a 74 pitch complete game and only giving up 3 HRs?
B) Juan Castro going 2-4 and hitting a HR
C) Nick Punto going 4-4 with an extra base hitComment

Re: 6/8-6/14 MLB Discussion
EDIT: Alright, I had to post this. When I looked back at the screen with Jason Tyner's game log from 2007 that I used to confirm his homer game, I noticed he hit .286 for the season. Are you kidding me? What a fluke.Last edited by ImTellinTim; 06-13-2009, 07:59 PM.Comment

Re: 6/8-6/14 MLB Discussion
Great pitchers duel going on between Feldman and Wolf. I actually expected it to be the opposite considering how hot it is out there today.
Edit....I stopped watching for 10 minutes and the game is under delay. Anyone know why?Last edited by cubsfan203; 06-13-2009, 08:29 PM.Fan of....

Re: 6/8-6/14 MLB Discussion
Punto getting 4 hits in a game without a doubt. He's hitting below .200 this year if I'm not mistaken. Silva actually used to be a good sinkerball pitcher until his sinker stopped sinking. Hundreds of crappy players have gone 2-4 with a homer at some point in their career. Freaking Jason Tyner even had a 2-4 with a homer game in his career.
Tony Pena Jr. has only had an average over .227 once his career and hasn't had had an .OBP over .300 and even he has gone 4-4 with an XBH.Comment
