A run and a runner on third thanks to Howard's "Milton Moment"
(To be clear, I'm just referring to mental error...he didn't toss the ball into the stands...lol)

      EDIT: J. Bay! 3-0

EDIT #2: So apparently metal gaffs are the order of business this weekend.

5-0 in the first, mostly due to Philly slop. (I'll certainly take it though)

Punto getting 4 hits in a game without a doubt. He's hitting below .200 this year if I'm not mistaken. Silva actually used to be a good sinkerball pitcher until his sinker stopped sinking. Hundreds of crappy players have gone 2-4 with a homer at some point in their career. Freaking Jason Tyner even had a 2-4 with a homer game in his career.

EDIT: Alright, I had to post this. When I looked back at the screen with Jason Tyner's game log from 2007 that I used to confirm his homer game, I noticed he hit .286 for the season. Are you kidding me? What a fluke.

Great pitchers duel going on between Feldman and Wolf. I actually expected it to be the opposite considering how hot it is out there today.

Edit....I stopped watching for 10 minutes and the game is under delay. Anyone know why?

Punto did hit .284/.344/.382 last year, and .290/.352/.373 in 2006. Not over a full season in either case, but it's not like he was hitting .230 with a sub .300 OBP.

Tony Pena Jr. has only had an average over .227 once his career and hasn't had had an .OBP over .300 and even he has gone 4-4 with an XBH.

"THE GAME IS BEING DELAYED DUE TO A POWER MALFUNCTION AT THE BALLPARK."

                That's from ESPN.com.

A bank of lights on the first base side went out. They said that the game should be delayed another 10-15 minutes.

I can't believe the craptastic Andruw Jones just hit a homerun off of LA.

                      Congrats Jones!

Better watch out for those Rockies, I believe they're now running on 10 straight.

And if LA holds on the Dodgers will still be up 10.5 games on them.

What's even scarier to think about, you guys will have Manny back in less than a month.

Hopefully he'll ruin the team chemistry.

I doubt that happens, everyone on the team loves him. Chemistry only matters in Boston and New York.

Chemistry only matters when you are losing!
