Agreed, though as you say, he normally handles the bullpen well. Ramirez has been leaving more pitches over the plate lately. Unfortunately, it's been happening against the worst part of the lineup...lol.

How about Tigers rookie pitcher Rick Porcello knocking in two RBI singles tonight to help his own cause against the Pirates. This was his first MLB game in where he had to pick up a bat.

The Doc with a groin injury....

I hope to heck it's not a serious one.

From one man to another; any groin injury is a serious one.

            Touche.

I've pulled muscles down there but thankfully not my groin.

Dobbs sure thought he had a walk-off homer, but just barely pulled it foul, and of course he struck out swinging two pitches later. It's a cruel game.

I disagree...... looked even with the foul pole. So let's see, they enacted instant replay to review questionable HR's and they didn't use it. That's the cruel part.

Ellsbury just gave the Sox a 3-2 lead. The bases are still loaded with one out for Green but it looks like we'll get to see Daniel Bard go for his first Major League save.

That's one of the easiest calls for an umpire to make because he's looking down the line. If there was any doubt in his mind it was fair he would have gone to replay. Since the home plate umpire didn't question it I'm left to assume it was pretty conclusive.

                      Sac fly Green, 4-2 Sox.

                          Touche Texas touche.

And James Loney sucks when he plays in his home state.

Wow indeed, the Mets are professionals when it comes to shooting themselves in the foot. The Yankees needed a win anyway they could get it coming off last night's demoralizing loss.

I disagree....it was too close and too high to call. Why not use it? It's at your disposal. Of course now this bull**** happens.

2 on 2 out in the bottom of the 9th. Arod pops it up to Luis Castillo who drops it letting both runners score and the Yankees won.
