The Braves will still go to bed in first place regardless of tonight's outcome...

As long as Bob Davidson is around there is still a chance for Philly.

it seems like the Padres always collectively go cold. Hey, here's a tip. Stop dumping 15+ runs in one game.

That was a great game! Thank you Braves for the gift wrap win! That was nice and Pat the bat with another big RBI. Why did he walk Sandoval? But I am glad he did. Wilson was light outs tonight. I wish the Giants can get some runs for Zito. That guy could have won about 12 game this year if they could have score some more runs for him.

At least you lost on two legit HR's and not your bullpen and defense choking it away.

At the end of the day it is still a loss. But I hear you. It all even out, we should have won yesterday. We had that pitcher on the ropes and let him off.

In 2007, the Phillies got screwed by a bad umpiring call in Houston. The situation was either bases loaded or 1st and 3rd, Phillies up one. Hunter Pence hits a ground ball double play and is clearly out at first but the umpire rules him safe, Astros ended up winning in extras. In September with the Phillies catching the Mets, all I thought was if the Phillies lose this division by one game or tie and lose the tiebreaker game. Fortunately they won the division and it didn't matter. Hopefully, it doesn't end up costing the Braves the wildcard at the end of the season .

Amazed that the Phils have been able to keep pace this year despite the ridiculous amount of injuries. Shocked that we've done so well w/ Howard missing especially since he was helping keep us afloat sans Utley.

Course Victorino is still out as well. Praying we are either in first or very close (1-3 GB) come the end of August when we get Utley back and everyone healthy again. If we get our normal line up back in tact and now w/ Halladay-Hamels-Oswalt, I think the Phils will end up winning the NL East by a few games.

The bullpen remains a huge question mark though. Hopefully our big three decide just to go for the CG every night and the O piles on 5+ an evening.
