Re: Barry Bonds clinches the MVP

Most of you are jealous of Barry.Do any of you really know what type of person any of the ball players are.Like him or not, he is the best baseball player in todays game.People
debate about his place in baseball history, but regardless
of his demeanor, his accomplishments are astounding!
Any man that forms an opinion about another man without the
benefit of doubt, really shouldn't consider himself a man.Maybe
    a boy in a man's world!

"Well, Albert Pujols clinched it on July 12. Guess we should stop talking about Bonds than. "

      Jim Edmonds,Edgar Renteria,Scott Rolen,tino Martinez,JD Drew...That St-Louis supporting cast...

Marquis Grissom?Jose Cruz?(Who's a good player but has really tailed off)Pedro Feliz?Aurilia who is nowhere near his 2001 form...

The giants are a .500 team without barry...Pujols is great player but that team barely misses a beat if he isn't there...As soon as Barry's back he hits a W-O homer and wins the game...

As for the Kent debacle,i've heard it was all Kent's fault..He kept screaming at a player(I think it was David Bell)then Barry told him to cut it out thats when the fight started...

Nobody in their right mind would pick Pujols now.

Yeah, I learned that a ways back after writing an intelligent editorial on Bonds that some kiddies couldn't appreciate because they hate bonds period. Why don?t these little shrimps try to make it to the Majors and then achieve greatness for ten, fifteen years. Albert Pojuls who? Lets wait ten years and see if he?s still producing or even playing.

Yes, i think Bell missed/messed up a cutoff that allowed a run to score the inning before and Kent was angry. He got in Bell's face about it and told him off. Barry and grabbed his shoulder and told him to stop, Kent pushed him and we all know what happened after that.

Also you say that no teammates like Barry? Aurillia, Foppert have all been on ESPN saying what an amazing guy he is, not to mention his amazing feats. Felipe Alou has said he's the best "star" he has ever coached because of his work ethic and friendliness. Hell, Bonds is usually the first person at PacBell. Yes, he beats the coaches there. Tell me you wouldn't like that if you were Felipe?
