    The Barry Bonds Trial

I just shake my head at this stuff being discussed in federal court.

I dunno. The Feds sure are turning the screws. They don't like feeling that someone is making a fool of them. I think they thought Bonds was doing that, and they're unleashing hell like the Feds do.

No, for perjury. He testified to a grand jury that he didn't knowingly take steroids. They are trying to prove that he knew exactly what he was taking. It's a tough thing to prove, really, since he's denied the whole time that he didn't know "the cream" and "the clear" were steroids.

Which is complete bull****, if you ask me.

The problem with his ex's report is that it looks like desperation putting her up there, especially with what she brings to the table. The only thing that is sort of, kind of relevant is that Bonds told her that he hurt his arm bc of roids... but even there, that won't go very far unless they have many others saying the same thing. If it's just her, the defense could just attack her character, potential motives, etc. With the other statements she made here that wouldn't be too hard.

I cant believe they questions dude about his hat size. LMAO. His noggin has grown astronomically over the couse of a decade. Whatever the case, Bond looks and sounds like a tool and I hope he gets caught. Regardless of if he beats the case or not, his record will forever be blemished through the eyes of the purist.

The purists willingly turn a blind eye to what was hidden when reporters wanted to protect players and we didn't have information so readily available.

Bonds is likely guilty, and definitely a "tool" imo. But I've got a serious problem with so called purists too.

Yea, thats true but there were and still are a ton of folks against Bonds. It almost seems like everyone in the world can imagine that Bonds knowingly took roids except him. I'm pretty sure everyone here who has ever had prescribed drugs looks at the list of side effects before you start chuggin. Who in their right mind would put anything on thier body or swallow anything without knowing exactly what it is. What is he, a toddler?

I cant get enough of laughing at the guy. Its funny how the rest of the roid crew backed out quietly while Bonds persist he didn't know.

I don't see it as total desperation on the feds' part in that she paints a picture of Bonds and his steroid use. It's pretty graphic and in some ways I don't think it belongs in court but Bonds brought this on by being so bullish so he's gonna have to accept it.

There's conflicting reports out there that the feds will be able to admit the failed steroid test of '03 though other lawyers say it won't be allowed in court. I guess we'll have to see.

I completely trust my doctor who I see twice a year, I only ask about my allergies concerning the medication. Bonds is childhood friends with Anderson, he's probably given things left and right. Who's to say that this was any different from any of those? I'm not defending him (though that's the side I want to be on), I'm just playing devil's advocate here. Maybe he was given ten different medications that week, you never know and neither does the jury.

BTW I have to ask this about Anderson. What the heck has Bonds done for that guy that he's willing to be thrown in jail not once but FOUR TIMES!?

I'd really like to know this. Maybe it'll come out one day.

Either paid him very well, he's very good friends, or maybe Bonds is innocent.

                              Anderson is either...

                              A) A die-hard Bonds "fanboy" and is sticking up for his idol.

                              or, the most likely scenario

                              B) Going to get paid something serious whenever he gets out.

I just wish I had one "friend" like Anderson.
