Damn so close, left it a little too much up for it to drop in just behind 3rd

Oh well still a dominating performance, hopefully he'll get one soon enough

While JJ is good, I think that statement should read like this:

I don't feel like a very good baseball fan right now.

The look of Johnson pissed the world off made me feel like it was okay if we lost, because we just made Johnson utterly disgusted. Like he thinks 7 1/3 innings of 1-hit baseball is a red-headed stepchild.

Well you strive for perfection and that one pitch was basically his only mistake the whole night, i'd be pissed too

Nats battling back in the B9th.

                2 on, 0 out, Phillies up 3-0.

Halladay had allowed 5 baserunners through 8 innings.

                In the 9th...already allowed 2.

Strikes out LaRoche w/ runners on the corners.

                  1 out.

                    Eff.

                    3-1.

Nix just took a RBI single off Roy.

                    1st and 3rd, 1 out.

                      3-2 now. Runners on 2nd and 1st.

Espinosa with a IF single that Rollins couldn't get a throw off on, diving to his right.

Reds lose 3-2 to the Padres off a bases loaded walk off single

loss goes to, who else, Nick Masset. 0-3 now for him

Stairs Ks on 3 pitches, never swinging the bat.

                            Phillies win.

Called 3rd strike on Pudge. Questionable at best...

                            Still...a wins a win.

Bob Uecker during tonight's game after being told today is the 49th anniversary of his first MLB plate appearance and being asked what the result of that was:

"5 unassisted to first base. It was a heck of a race, he almost tripped over the mound on the way there."

Bob Uecker is not allowed to retire or die, ever. He's probably one of my all-time favorite things about baseball.
