Wow, the Yankees have hit into five double plays tonight and Matt Harrison is looking good yet again.

    5-1 Rangers

        OH YEAH!

The combination of using runners on the basepaths in creative ways and simply hammering on Bobby Jenks has given the Jays a big lead here in the 7th.

        It's 7-3 Jays.

Matt Harrison has this odd ability to get batters to hit hard ground balls directly at fielders. So frustrating. It's not even really the Yankees hitters fault. Harrison is going to get his share of ground balls, but everything they hit hard is right at the fielders.

Jay Bruce hits his first funkblast of the year to break the shutout in the bottom of the 9th with 2 out but Reds still fall to the Pirates, 6-1

That's an interesting stat. I dunno whether to call it coincidence or proof of something more.

A guy who works for me was good friends with his dad who passed away last Fall. He knew Logan when Logan was a kid/teen and kept telling me this kid was going to hit if he got a chance at the big league level...so far, he's right.

It's more than likely a coincidence but I didn't post it as any part of an agenda. Just found it interesting is all.

Cardiac Royals just had to make it way too interesting in the end, but they hold on for the win against the M's 6-5. What a disgusting night for baseball: windy, cold and steady rain.

Herrera is probably my favorite Rockies player. I've dubbed him "singles all day" since it seems like he's on first base all the time when given the chance to play. Should've been everyday starter after last year
