    Re: Where will Vlad go?

Vlad does not want money he just wants a steady home. he wants a home for his mom and his mom is happy in Montreal and he "DOES" Not want to be in a spot light if he leaves and goes to another team he will be in the spot light and he wont be able to handle all the hype. Since he is in Montreal he doesn't have to deal with all that. Thus he is staying in Montreal period.

            Re: Where will Vlad go?

I'm not as adamant as thetruth is but I will say this. Vlad would play horribly in a city where he is in the spotlight. I remember in the first year of Loria's ownership of the Expos they tried marketing Vlad as THE MAIN MAN. Well it looked good on paper except Vlad hasn't shown the willingness to learn english. (He still has a translator) and the fact that you never see him in post game interviews.

It's kinda sad in a way tho because Vlad is basically this generation's Gary Carter in Montreal but he just doesn't want to get out and be a public figure. He's insanely popular there tho. Just imagine if he was a Gary Carter type who is good with the media.

Maybe Montreal wouldn't be in such bad shape?

As a Marlins fan i cants say anything bad about Loria, but anyways...I dont understand how people can say Vlad wants a steady Home, so he'll stay in Montreal...They have no idea where they will be in 2 years...And he will be the center of attention in Portland, Washington, or Virginia. I personally would love to see him come play Right Field for the Marlins but i know that wont happen, so i think he'll end up hopefully staying in Montreal.
