Damn, did we get touchy on this board?

Dude just let his emotions get the best of him, it was a very winnable game for the Cubs.

Don't fret my friends, Cubs got Prior and Wood starting in back to back games... I like our Chances in the Cubs

Disappointing loss (which ones aren't? ) for the Cubs. Bats woke up. Pitching went to sleep.

I dunno about our chances. The Marlins have talent and they play hungry. Granted, there's still a long way to go, but can we really expect Prior and Wood to win EVERY game they pitch? Of course, there aren't many pitchers I'd rather have pitching, as both guys are on top of their game right now. But, I just get this feeling that Zambrano or Clement are gonna have to figure out how to win a game this post season if we're gonna get to the WS.

And when, I say that, I truly mean that Clement is gonna have to figure out a way. Zambrano is spent. He is pitching like a tired pitcher. His last four outings have not been good, going back to the regular season. I know cuz I had him on my fantasy team .

Anyway, it's not over by a long shot. Go Cubbies!

Letting his emotions go isnt the problem. The problem is that he starts off by cursing, then saying something to the effect of 'how can such a scrub team beat the best team int he world'

I dont mind being a loyal fan, And i am sure being ribbed a little is all in good fun, and even smack talking is allowed here, but i, nor any other mod, will allow anyone on here to have a tantrum at the expense of other posters. This isnt the place to come here and basically spout of demeaning things. You can go and do that at a bar, not here.

Understandable.... Did he say the best the team in the world?

A true Cub fan is always going to put wins in perspective.. and never really get to ahead of ourselves.

Eventhough I was only 11., 1984..watched the Cubs battle the Mets for the NL East Pennant, The Cubs broke my heart being up on the Padres 2-0 in the NLCS and losing the next 3.....

1989 fiasco, wont mention 1998.... So I am humble as they come.. But I am also proud of the way the Cubs battled this season.
