11-2 Cubs; Good Game! Just what the doctor ordered!

This is crazy, too bad Zambrano hadn't pitched today.

Ramirez is real streaky so you have to take the good with the bad. I've watched him in PGH for a few seasons now and everytime I think he's "got it", he'll play terribly for a string of games or do something real stupid to make me think "nope, he's still got a lot to learn". With that said, I'd still rather have him back in PGH because he is young and could be very dangerous for years to come. So Cubs got a good player and PGH got squat!

Man where did that power surge come from!!! It was great to see the Cubs come back from what could've been a demoralizing loss.

On the other side of the coin it just looks like Brad Penny doesn't have the mental makeup to be a big postseason pitcher.

Also was REAL good seeing my former Blue Jay friend Alex Gonzalez tearing the cover off the ball tho that can be somewhat bad as he tends to get REAL streaky with the long ball.

Sosa's HR had my jaw dropping, it was that great

                        KEEP IT UP CUBBIES!!!

Would have mentioned something last night but the dsl modem was down.

It was ugly. VERY UGLY. Penny got his clock cleaned. The series is now 1-1 and coming to Florida. I expect nothing but more great baseball down here.

(side note, and this is the fan in me- marlins, when blowing a big game the day before, have come back to win the next game by alot, i think it happened 8 times during the season when a team scored more than 10 runs in a game. Now will this happen? Not sure cause of Kerry Wood, but in any case its gonna be fun to watch)
