So instead of 10,000 they get 15,000?

Seriously, without Wrigley Field, the Cubs are playing in half empty stadiums every losing year too. Are the White Sox bringing in sell outs every game? Bulls still getting sellouts? Chicago fans aren't the amazing and loyal fans who support their team no matter what that you think they are. Not a knock on them, as no teams really have fans like that, but they aren't any better as far as this goes than a lot of cities.

Also a lot of the fans just go there for the party atmosphere at Wrigley. The beer, good food, the scenery, hanging out with friends etc etc........and then there's a baseball game OH WHAT A BONUS!

I'm thinking about 50-60% of the people that go to Wrigley fit that description.
