Why is Torre suddenly the Bible on this issue. Asserting that Pedro aimed at the head vs merely inside is pure conjecture.

If anyone is going to take Zimmers age into account it should be the Yankees regarding whether or not the allow him to sit in the dugout. Beyond that, all bets are off.

As far as Bonds' pad goes, when Bonds bats he raises his hands and the elbow pad will be in the vicinity of his head.

Say what you want about Clemens, but Pedro has to be the dumbest player alive.

He and only he lost that game for the Sox. After he hit Garcia, the RedSox hitters were running all night.

Did you see Manny bailing on every pitch? Roger could put it right down the pipe and Manny didn't have a chance. His weight was on his heels from the outset. You could see he was scared by the way he reacted to a high fastball OVER THE PLATE. Though he had his eyes closed so I guess we can excuse him for being confused.

Pedro didn't have his stuff, got frustrated and blew the game. He wants to make a name for himself without even considering the ramifications for his team.
