      Well, I certainly didn't see that coming. Is he going to be a DH or will he play 1B and Cabrera move to 3B/DH?

      That is a TON of money. I didn't know Detroit had that much bank.

          I believe Heyman said Fielder would be primary 1B.

            I think Fielder is an incredible baseball player. It's a great signing.

            I just don't understand why they had to go 9 years. Why do teams continuously outbid themselves?

                    there is no salary cap so I could care less about the dollars, I am just happy as hell it happened and cannot wait to see Cabrera getting protection from Prince
