Longoria just missed an opposite field grand slam by about 2-3 feet in his first game back.

Still got a sac fly though.

Also, Miguel Cabrera is too talented as a hitter. It's ridiculous. I feel like he goes deep every time we play the Tigers.

Valverde should not be closing out games. He reminds me way too much of Todd "Roller Coaster" Jones.

Valverde should not be closing out games. He reminds me way too much of Todd "Roller Coaster" Jones.

Not sure that comparison is fair. Valverde strikes out more guys and gives up far fewer hits per nine innings than Jones did. Valverde biggest weakness is walks, Jones was just the opposite, walked very few guys but got hit hard most of the time. Valverde's career numbers are easily better than Jones. He saved the game, at the end of the day that is all that matters.
