Ugh. I'm hoping the Braves don't miss this opportunity to catch the Nationals in the standings.

clean play, stuff like that is hard to watch but it's part of the game.

Interesting to note that Yadier had about the same collision with the Pirates 8 years to this day.

Well, history sort of repeats itself.

I wish MLB would have cameras on the fair poles. I can't tell whether the Delmon Young shot was a HR or not. One angle made it look like a HR, the other made it look foul. Since the call was foul, and the evidence was inconclusive, I don't have an issue with the final call. I just wish we had a specific camera set up so we could get a close up view.

Ahem 1979-1981 and 1994 and before you say that doesn't count just remember all the Expos records are still on the book and the media will talk about how it's the first time the franchise has been in the playoffs since '81.

Anywho, even though they lost I was buoyed by Romero's start tonight and hey Adeiny Hechevarria (sp) hit his first career HR! Sadly, Colby Rasmus went from hero last night to goat tonight with his bad baserunning mistake.

                              Medlen has been utterly stellar.

Jim Johnson has the same total of saves as the Astros have in wins.
