If the Blue Jays don't give Carlos Villanueva a good deal and a promise of a rotation spot than well....I can see a team overpaying to get him next season. The guy is having a fabulous season.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Zach Britton is slowly restoring my faith in him as a pitcher. 8 IP 1 ER 10 K today with only 1 walk.Comment

MLB Network and DirecTV make no sense.
The games are Baltimore/New York or Chicago/Detroit, and my channel is blocked out. Have to go to the MLBN "alternate" channel just to watch it.
Why? I live in freakin' Los Anghelles. There is literally no reason whatsoever for the channel to be blocked out.Last edited by TheMatrix31; 08-31-2012, 06:07 PM.Comment

I'm hoping Chipper is alright after that collision at the plate. I would hate to see him go out like that.Comment

Another great win by the Jays and hey, Moises Sierra's got a gun for an arm!
If the Jays can't be contenders then they might as well be good spoilersMember of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Interesting to note that as of today, there isn't a single player in MLB with an OPS above 1.000.
Last time that happened was 1988.I write things on the Internet.

P.S. Makes me sad to think what a healthy Phillies team would have done this year with Lee pitching like he could and the bullpen somewhat healthier, though Contreras and Herndon don't necessarily make me all warm and fuzzy.Comment

That was an amazing replay. That ball gets there 1/10th of a second later or 2 more inches to Kratz's left and Chipper is gonna be safe on that. He looked fine.... did he not finish the game?
