I'd like to get a mid-level prospect or a back up catcher in this deal, but i'm not too concerned. Getting rid of Mohr opens up outfield spots for players with higher potential. Mohr was a gamer and his versatility was nice, but he was second on the team in strikeouts, which is horrible. His bat killed us in many key situations last year. I think you're seeing the Twins shift to a "high on base/low strikeout" philosophy, and i think it's much needed.

Dust, it is a great time for AJ to take his poor plate discipline and huge ego to the Bay Area. Mauer is a better all-around player than he is RIGHT NOW.
