I think the fall of the Yankees is coming, and players are starting to sense it. You would have thought Pettitte would be a lifetime Yankee. Wells never wanted to play for anyone but the Yankees. Now they are getting out. Wells could be a good pickup. He pitched very well early on for the Yankees when he was getting back in shape, he got lazy towards the end of the year though and wasn't the same guy.

The Yanks only offered a minor league, incentive laden deal with a weight clause in it. SD is giving him like a guaranteed 4 million deal. Plus, he's also 41 with a bad back. My only concern is that he was a lefty that they no longer have now. If Lieber is healthy, there's no reason he can't win 12-15 games with the Yankee offense...If not, don't be surprised if El Duque returns...Comment
