They had chances at the end of game 6 to tie up the game, but were relying too much on trying to get a homer that they couldnt advance the runner. Small ball would've gotten them at least to extra.
I need to go back and re-watch that LCS; all I really remember about it is Cain scoring from 1st on a single to score what would be the pennant winning run. It was a ball to RF and the throw came to Tulo behind 2B and Cain kept going...catching Tulo flat footed and his throw the plate was weak.

I don't even remember what you are referencing with the "kid being interviewed"...

I can't find the video online, but they sent a reporter to talk to him afterwards. Basically encouraging him to gloat and be like "I only put my hand out and caught it" when the video clearly shows him stretching over the wall.

No ballpark OF should be built where fans can reach over a wall and interfere with play like that.

Even foul territory, another reason I'm glad theres a net now is so fans dont reach over or try catching a popup when a player is right there. All ballparks guilty of fans like that, but I saw too many Jays fans like that as well. Those are probably the same fans we see robbing a kid of getting a baseball.

A new kind of classic game airing on TV. Since TSN doesn't have Jays rights (and refuse to show older games they do have rights to), they're airing Expos games.

Pedro has a perfect game technically. Perfect through 9, but game went to extras and he let up a hit.

They replayed Jays-Rangers game 5. Including the ENITRE unedited 7th inning.

              Craziest inning ever.

Yes, those Jays fans were insane and completely wrong and real stupid. Anyone who knows what 500 level Jays fans are like will know that issues stemming from that level happens more often than you think. People pay more money on beer than seats.

It's a crazy situation, but that was the right call. We just never saw it before. If this was game 4 in a series that's 3-0 Jays, fans wouldn't have been as mad.

And what people forget, Edwin has a huge HR in the bottom of the 6th. Crowd during that HR was almost as loud as the Bautista HR the next inning.

And the benches clearing at the end of that too, TWICE, how crazy.

Jays fans in the 500 level are crazy. I don’t know what that says about me, but I’ve enjoyed every game I’ve been to sitting in the 500 level. Haha.

I’m actually a little embarrassed to type that.

                  And on top of that.

Earlier in the thread I totally forgot about David Price. I also forgot Fielder and Hamilton were on the 2015 Texas playoff roster.

                  Also Cole Hamels.

I think my age is starting to creep through.

500 has a combination of the adults who go up there to drink and go crazy, and families with kids who are looking for more affordable seating options, especially if they're going with 4 or more people. It's a weird mix.

If they ever build a new ballpark, they need to get rid of the 200 and 500 level OF, make the 200 level IF have way more seats, and 500 level have fewer seats.

Yeah. Years ago we’d go because as a family of 5 the price point fit our budget. Now all our kids are older (20-30) but we still end up in the 500 level.

When you’re actually up there outside of a few loud mouths it’s an enjoyable game. Personally I’ve never been at a game where things get crazy ( i e. things thrown on the field). I get a little loud myself after a few beers but nothing disrespectful.

Things don't usually get thrown from there, but from what I heard, there are fights at times up there and security kicking people out.

I was planning on going there this season. Haven't been in 500 level in ages, but I got good seats behind home plate. So much for that.

I only get to 2 games a year (3 if I’m lucky) but I’ve never seen a fight up there. I’ve never had a bad experience. Like I said, some loud mouths who are mostly pretty funny actually. Definitely seen some booted out before.

And on a plus the view is actually pretty good from up there. I’ve sat down the first and third base lines before and by the end of the night your neck is pretty stiff from watching the game.

Whenever I sat there in the past I'd always be near the baseline side, higher up. That's why I wanted to try the seats closer to the front by home plate. Look straight ahead at the jumbotron for replays and batting lineup, but just look down for the action.

Only thing I never remembered is how high those railings are. I don't want to have a seat where the railings obstruct my view. For row 1 you have railings and the wall, which is why went with row 2 just in case the wall or railing height obstructed part of my view.

Railings were never a problem for me. I was always WAY up there. LOL.

For all the hate I’ve seen on the Skydome ( Rogers Center ) any seat I’ve ever had has been pretty good. As far as view anyway.

The OF seats aren't so good. Cant see the jumbotron from most of those seats, and you're obviously as far from home plate as you can be. I sat a couple rows up in the 100 level one time. Worst seats I had. You're almost 400 feet away from home plate, cant see the jumbotron, and the 200 level is above you, meaning its just a giant slab of concrete. Feels so confining.

This won't impact the viewing experience at all, but would be nice if they have more attractions inside. Like plaques, banners and other things inside that's worth checking out.

And outside absolutely needs statues. How they dont have a statue of Joe Carter after he hit the walk off, or Alomar after his ALCS HR is beyond me.

Leafs legends row is a cool attraction. Jays should do that for their level of excellence guys as well. There's so much space by the 3B and 1B gates. Each side could have different statues.
