CDC acknowledged that it is considering raising nationwide social distancing to Level 3 which will automatically shutdown #KBO. There were 324 new cases reported today (only 54 cases on 8/11) and most were from Seoul metro area. Next few days will be critical for Korea and KBO.

Meant to share this yesterday.

The Yankees called up Miguel Yajure yesterday. Which in itself isn't noteworthy, but he is the first player to be assigned #89. After the Cardinals also assigned #92 (Genesis Cabrera) and #86 (Jesus Cruz) this week, there are no longer any unused numbers in MLB.

Don't worry, one day we'll see a player wear #100.

Just saw the QP trivia question from tonight's show (don't know the answer and am going to think on it):

Who is the only player to win a silver slugger for both the Indians and Tigers?

EDIT: Okay, my guess... one that I didn't know was a thing until I did a minor snooping.

Juan Gonzalez. He entered my head over and over, questioning whether he had a year in Cleveland. Did he get silver slugger? Not sure.

I ruled out Albert Belle, Omar Vizquel, Roberto Alomar, people like that... this was the only one I could connect.

I can't believe that I completely had blocked him from memory when thinking of Tigers who had played in Cleveland. He wasn't there for a short while, either. I mean I mentioned his name in my head over and over and said "Nah." Or maybe I didn't, but rather instead I was thinking of J.D. Martinez and skipped right over him.

I guess I'm just used to hearing names like Bud Black, Mike Matheny, Don Mattingly like you said TC (who are all still around, but not with the same team) and of course Bruce Bochy (who just retired) that it's surprising to think the one you mentioned is the one to have stuck around the longest.

Funny how many of these guys have alliterative names.
