I'm for anything that takes it away from the fans.

The ASG used to be for the fans, until they attached the stupid stipulation that the winner of the game gets home field advantage in the World Series.

It makes people feel good. The dirty secret that Baseball is hiding is that the setting on the metal detectors are set so low that they don't work. That's why i can go in with my phone, watch, class ring, etc... and it never goes off. If they did work, then it would take forever to get in and then people would just stay home instead of going to the ballpark.

On the topic of this, I read something today saying something about some airport security(I believe it was in the US) only really working 5% of the time and tests by some homeland security people actually got certain things past the metal detectors.

You just have to wonder how bad these things truly are all around. Maybe they intentionally set it off whenever someone "suspicious" walks through it.

The talk in the game thread got me thinking about all the young talent that's around.

Who do you think will be the first of this next generation to win it all?
