And don't forget Zac Gallen was included in the Alcantara trade for Ozuna.

Willy Adames was just struck in the dugout by a Brian Anderson foul ball at American Family Field. Currently there is a delay in the game as they attend to him.

I said it would happen. I warned it would happen. They put up netting for fans only (which I do not prefer) yet the players are closer. It was always a matter of time.

Now they're going to do some form of protection in the future, but it might have been one person too late.

      I hope Adames is okay.

I didn’t see it so it may have been something totally different than what I’m referring too, but the way players watch over the rail on the dugout, they’re going to need something with less give than the netting they use for the fans

Adames is expected to be released from hospital today. He suffered no fractures or serious injuries.

He will be placed on 7 day concussion IL

What a weird scenario to play the "I told you so" card.

I'm not bragging about it. No one seems to care until it happens is all.

I said it the way a parent does after their child is crying falling out of the tree when they were warned about climbing that high.

Remember Anthony Bass controversy? The whole airplane incident with the popcorn and flight crew.

Turns out that's not even the most controversial thing he's commented on this season...

We'll see how long he lasts in this city.

So I'm late on this, but they did eventually fire Glen Kuiper for that mishap about the Negro Leagues Musuem. I hope they thought about that long and hard, because the result is the guy's long career and rep being thrown in the trash.

Yeah I don’t really know. I’ve said Negro Leagues a million times in my life and never come close to slipping in the way that he did, I can’t even imagine it, it’s absurd to me. But if my job is to talk and I **** up to this degree, I’d expect to be brushing up my resume as well.

I don't think I've ever said that out loud. It's just too damn close. And this case proves that context doesn't matter. If you mispeak you are done.

But it definitely felt like the momentum was building against him, even though the head of the musuem didn't think he should be fired. Most people had no clue who he was before this, and therefore were like "oh hell no, **** that dude."

I can’t imagine any context that makes it better. Given the benefit of the doubt that it’s just a mistake, it’s not a mistake you can make when your job is public speaking.

I wish Bob Kendrick hadn’t said anything tbh. I understand what he was trying to do but now people are using it like he speaks for all of us and “oh that one said it’s fine so all of you should be fine with it.”

Anthony Bass is probably days away from being DFAd.

They called a media conference, announced he's taking no questions, he spoke for 30 seconds, gave the cliche "I apologize for offending anyone, I'll be educating myself through team programs about the issue, I have CLOSE family and friends who are part of the group of people I offended so I get it."

Between this and the entitled airplane stuff, probably best not to have someone like that in your locker room. His pitching doesn't help his case for staying on the roster either.

How can MLB/other leagues get out of their deal with Bally?

Hopefully they can find a good way to broadcast games for these teams moving away from Bally.

What did he say? Nvm just saw it. Maybe they should stop forcing the pride **** down everybody's throats.

They are having a similar issue with the Dodgers.
