Jays were posting some pics of baseball fields their charity has helped build/fund.

This one on the east coast looks like something you'd build in a video game (in a good way).

Despite how it looks in the pic, it'll take a 500+ FT shot to hit a ball into the ocean for anyone wondering.

Dominion, Nova Scotia. A destination spot I want to visit one day, and no doubt now a stop for me. Thanks for sharing

What makes it lame and his message flat was his team's $90M team salary. What's strange is the way the team was torpedoed by him after the 2021 season when he went from $108m, 22-$70, 23-$70m, to $90m now. Yet, MLB permits it.

I've always felt there should be a salary cap and a floor. When I speak of this, people get incensed and insist parody exists in the current system.

I dunno, I look at the standings and see New York and Los Angeles at the top every year.

In my opinion, a city like Kansas City will never have years of sustained success in MLB like they've had in the NFL because the playing field is uneven.

At the bottom, with no floor, you'll have what Oakland has done.

Money absolutely helps. But it isn't everything, for example the payroll and results of "the other" New York and Los Angeles teams.

The City of Oakland and Fisher were one of those perfect toxic relationships where both parties were terrible and lazy and the definition of pure sandbagging nonsense. If MLB hadn't finally just given up and put a firm deadline we'd still be in an endless purgatory cycle. I wonder when the A's will unmute their entire fanbase on socials?
