Yes, good doc, and it's on Netflix right now.

It's not just about the LSD no-hitter either. A lot of stuff about the general culture in baseball around that time. One that they'd like you to forget about And, of course, about his recovery from addiction and work helping others who struggled with the same problems he had.

If you look at his upper body, he's not gaining any extra momentum from the "re-plant". The advantage is that you're getting another foot closer to the plate, which reduces the batter's reaction time. But I don't see him gaining any kind of actual velocity from these mechanics. If anything, he's just drifting at the end and actually slowing down.

Personally, I think he's getting some of it back (compared to that of Walden's delivery). My point remains that if he was physically able to even take a second hop like that (and he very well may be), that shouldn't be any more illegal than what he's doing now. Maybe that's just me.

He was throwing an 83 MPH changeup, and it looked blistering fast when he was throwing it haha.

The Cubs get Clayton Richard from the Pirates for cash. Richard will start on Saturday.

                  Interesting

They also made a prospect trade with the Angles, sending C Rafael Lopez for P Manny Rondon and some international signing slot $$

I haven't seen statcast on TV - although I'm sure it's presented in a very annoying fashion - but the actual data it's produced has been absolutely amazing. You can do stuff like predict guy's slash lines now.

I don't think Hart will be dumb enough to nullify all the work he's done thus far; I read he wants a guy he can control for several years...I'd love, rather, we take a flier on Feliz as he's only 27 and has so much talent, even after the TJ surgery. Would be a good end if we can get something back from the horrible Tex deal of 07.
