He throws 96. He's the Jays' No. 1 prospect. He signed for millions. And he lives in a VW camper. Meet Daniel Norris, the most interesting pitcher in baseball.

I'm sure that most of you are familiar with Daniel Norris and his van, but this is a solid read.

Funniest part is how walmart people feel sorry for him(not knowing who he is or anything). Just giving him money based on his appearance and seeing him living in a van.

lol, not sure if multi million dollar top prospect in MLB, or homeless guy living in a van:

That was the best part... They call him "Van Man".

Are you talking about the reporters or the actual reporting? Either way it's damned if you do damned if you don't for these guys. They're trying to get the story and of course, sometimes you get situations where an athlete is going to say "Hey I love it here i'm never gonna leave" but in reality he's already got his bags packed. I feel bad for those in the media that have to write these stories when they know the guy is lying his *** off.

Definitely not the reporters fault. They do their job and report we they hear or see. Even the most trusted reporters can get smoke blown up their asses on a regular basis. They may have some idea they are being lied to but it's still their job to report what they were told. The public is further removed from the situation so it's harder for us to judge fact or fiction. That's why I take a lot of what read with a grain of salt.

But at same time, you know for the player,it must suck knowing you can't tell the truth. I mean, what player will ever be like "I don't like being here,I won't mind the day I get traded or have a chance to sign somewhere else". Many answers, players can't tell the truth, cause the backlash they'd receive would just be way too much(from fans and/or teammates).

Nice little read on the Rays/Diamondbacks 20 years later.

Rays should've never gotten rid of the Devil Rays look. The look that had in the 2000s before being just the Rays was better.

And DBacks look now I like better than the purple one. Though should have modernized version of their old pinstripes jerseys as an alternate.

I actually like the snakes new look. Most of the people in AZ like it better as well. Their color scheme fits better than the purple did. Red and Black says Sonoran desert.

Kinda surprised they didn't go with the green/teal that accentuated the purple, but I guess it wouldn't translate well to uniforms and stuff (without looking too much like SEA, although they're mainly the dark blue).

Their look now is great and fitting to the area.
