    Pretty special.

How does game score work though? As great as he was, the one hit was a homerun, so I don't get how it ranks all that highly as far as best games ever pitched.

        Wood's game is still king.

I had that "oh yeah that guy" thing with Greg Gagne when I watched the entire '91 Series. I actually have a lot of '90s playoff games to watch but it's taking a while since my OCD means I have to watch everything chronologically.

If you go by wRC+ (which is liked a touched up version of OPS+):

              Ted Williams: 188
              Mike Trout: 167
              Mickey Mantle: 170

Kind of a useless fact, but I KNOW it's pronounced Greg GAG-nee, but after Eric Gagne (gon-yay) I always have to think about the pronunciation a bit first.

Bryce Harper is still younger than Kris Bryant was in his debut.

I remember never knowing who Greg Gagne actually was in the sense that I wouldn't watch him play or anything, but my sister got a ball signed by him somehow at a game she went to (we were like pre-high school, I might have even been in elementary school). We always said "Gag-nee" because we didn't know any better, but started saying "Gon-yay" for him as well after we learned of Eric.

Funny to hear that it actually might have been the former all along.

Although I don't really buy into near-term MLB expansion due to a dearth of realistic city options/realistic media market sharing options, I always like to read these articles because they make me jones to play OOTP and start a fantasy relocation franchise.

I wonder if MLB would ever go to Vegas though.
Would they be considered hypocrites with their totalitarian stance on players betting on games?

If they did expand to 32, I'd prefer if they went back to 8-team divisions, with the top 4 teams making it in each.
Round 1 would be best of 5.

As far as expansion/relocation, I'd love it if the Rays moved to Montreal, and the league added a team in either Vancouver or Portland and perhaps Charlotte or Indy.
